Rooms and rates

Rooms are simple, clean and rustic. Linens, towels and robes are provided. Every bedroom has a writing table, a good chair and light for reading, a ceiling fan and its own thermostat for heat. There are light breakfast foods, coffee and tea available in the kitchen. We will also provide a food shopping service whenever possible for those guests who are coming to the retreat without a car.

Three large cottages are open April through October. (They have also been used during the winter months by hearty souls seeking solitude and willing to make do without running water).

Adults only, unless special arrangements have been made. Sorry, no pets except in cabin #4, which is set aside for pets as long as it is available. We maintain a smoke-free, allergy-free environment. In addition we ask our guests to help us respect the environment as much as possible. We use environment-friendly cleaners, non-aerosol room fresheners, and dish towels instead of paper towels. We also ask our guests to conserve energy by being aware of their electricity use. We recycle.

Private unit with 1 bedroom

Private unit with 2 bedrooms

own kitchen, own entrance, own patio and 1 full bathroom
2 or 4 persons same rate - $275/2 nights - $325/3 nights - $700/1 week

Private cottage

with 2 bedrooms, very private, end of road, 1^1/2 baths, living room, big kitchen, enclosed porch
This is our pet-friendly cottage same rate as private unit if available (prefer long-termers)

Please add 10^1/2% tax (county room tax = 3%, and NY sales tax= 7^1/2%).

Monthly rates are negotiable.

A deposit of 50% (check or money order) of total stay required prior to confirmation.

Cancellation policy

If notice is given seven (7) days prior to the day of arrival and we can rebook your room, you will get a full refund minus 3% of the deposit. If you cancel within a week prior to your reservation, and we can not rebook your room, you will be charged for the full amount.

Refunds will not be given because you realize upon arrival that you are in a quiet, simple cottage in a wooded location.
People with moisture allergies probably should not reserve.
